On behalf of the network of Regional Training Organisations across Australia, I would like to invite you to participate in the General Practice Training and Education Conference 2017 (GPTEC 2017) to be held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney on 16-17 August 2017.
GPs are the cornerstone of Australia’s healthcare system and are vital to local communities. Providing high quality training to ensure doctors become skilled and confident GPs is critical for community health and sustainability.
It takes a team of people to develop a strong GP workforce; including medical educators, GP supervisors, practice staff, training organisation staff, cultural educators and numerous stakeholders and other medical personnel.
This year’s conference theme ‘Building Communities: Bricks | Mortar | Imagination’ explores the powerful role of these ‘learning communities’ and their impact on developing and shaping our next generation of GPs.
GPTEC 2017 will challenge hundreds of participants to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and revisit current systems and methodologies in the context of the dynamic and ever changing general practice training environment.
The new Sydney International Convention Centre provides the perfect setting for this illustrious think tank.
We hope you can join us.
